Maryland's Eastern Shore is a popular vacation area with the the Ocean City surf and all the seafood. Central Maryland, has the state capital, Annapolis, and the largest city, Baltimore. Maryland's western area has incredible scenery, with many outdoor act ivies available. Southern Maryland has Colonial history with lighthouses, fossil hunting, quiet beaches, hiking, and much more. You can see
a show, visit a vineyard, attend a sporting event, or enjoy a theme park. The Atlantic Ocean coast has fishing and beaches, while golf courses can be found throughout Maryland vacation areas.
Washington DC is not a far drive from many of the resorts. Ocean City, Ocean Pines, Bayside Ocean City, Berlin and McHenry are some of the areas to visit.
