Located in the High Sierra, the Mountain Club at Kirkwood offers hotel-style accommodations, a health club, whirlpool spa, ski lockers, complimentary in-room Wi-Fi, and concierge service. Visitors take advantage of seasonal outdoor activities, including downhill and cross-country skiing, ice skating, and snowboarding (steps away from six major lifts) in winter, and swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, hiking, and road and mountain biking in summer (beginning in July). Nearby Lake Tahoe provides casinos, nightly entertainment, fine dining and shopping (limited during the summer and shoulder seasons), and lake activities. On-Site amenities are unlimited and include a cocktail lounge, bicycle trails, cooking facilities in all units, grocery store, horseback riding, laundry facilities, playground, restaurant, steam room, hot tub, ice skating, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, outdoor swimming pool, and tennis.
