My husband and I love it! If you like to party you have the convenience of easy access down the strip,if you like to shop all the shops and malls are down that same strip, or if you want to relax and enjoy the beach have a few drinks and stay at the resort. They also have great restaurants there. Enjoy it as a couple, with a group of friends, or with family and kids. Avalon Grand Cancun is the place to go. The people there give you great hospitality. I forgot a bag when we got droped off at the airport and as soon as I let our taxi driver know, he and the Avalon staff went looking for it, then came and found me at the airport to return it to me just in time. That is the kind of service you get there. Oh, and try the tours, Excaret is great.

Stayed for seven days/nights at Avalon Grand and had a wonderful time. Beautiful resort and world class service. The sand and sun are unbelievable. Also stayed for 3 days/nights at Avalon on Isla Mujeres and wish we could have stayed longer. Driving around in golf carts we explored the whole island and relaxed in our villa overlooking the Mexican Carribean. The "Island of Women" is one of the treasures of Cancun and must be experienced to be believed. Highly recommend the whole trip!!

Absolutely beautiful location - just like the pictures! Clean! The resort has much to offer with all the ammenities. The villas are outstanding. The tip of the island, at the Villas, is where the Gulf of Mexico meets the Caribean. The island is a riot with plenty to do and see with tons of shops, restaurants. Prices are better on the Island and you CAN relax! Enjoyed this location much more than the commercialism of Cancun. In fact, we will only stay on the island in the future & go to the mainland when desired. Best kept secret!
