I have not stayed @ OP in about 9yrs, however my family has owned A2 since the resort 1st opened.I loved (always) the location(beach with breath-taking views of sunrises you wouldn't believe)the peace and quite, the location to everything kept us coming back to the SAME PLACE, never swapping, ever year since the beginning. Due to medical and financial problems I lost my weeks, but this coming up week is still in the family and my 2 daughters, son-in-laws, and 3 grandsons will be enjoying it, without Grandma. Everyone is real excited and looking forward to staying down there and next year Grandma will be in the group. Anyone that has the chance to stay definately should. Thanks OP for the memories.

It's peaceful being right on the beach and yet you are moments from watersports, bike riding and enjoying the ambience of Duck. This is family vacationing at its best because there are no touristy boardwalks-just good clean fun for all the family.

This is a nice resort just North of trendy Duck. It's possible to walk to a lovely bird sanctuary next door and the beach is just across the street. Beautiful views of the bay and sunset, not to mention a sheltered set of decks on the back of our unit allow for private sunbathing and watching the bayside waterfowl. It's a short drive up to the lighthouse at Corolla and the wild pony preserve. And only a couple of minutes drive to the shops and restaurants in Duck.

Resort runs from ocean to sound, and this townhouse unit is a 5 minute walk, or 30 second drive and park at beach. Great shops and restaurants in lovely Duck only minutes away. Wonderful uncrowded beach and beachsport rentals on Sound closeby.
