The Camelot is back! We have been ennjoying the Camelot By the Sea for over 25 years and have had great family times. Located on Pass-A-Grille Beach just down from St.Pete Beach, it is an ideal place to enjoy the beach, pool, and fun. The view is stupendous. Located in a more residential neighborhood, we enjoy the peacefulness. If you want more action, it is just right up the beach. We walk to the local market most nights to purchase fresh fish or meat and then grill poolside - no need to get out of our swimsuits. Too, there are very good restaurants within walking distance. We enjoy both the sunrise over the inland waterway and the sunsets over the Gulf. The sunsets are best enjoyed on the balcony with a cool drink in one's hand!

In the reviews it was stated that camelot By the sea was sold and owners went to stay and it was locked up and was no longer with RCI.They are however back with rci, because I just booked a wek there yesterday.I also spoke on the phone with the resort itself.

I found out through RCI that Camelot by the Sea was removed from the exchange program. RCI couldn't provide a reason. Camelot-by-the-Sea billed as usual for the annual maintenance dues at the end of 2006. My money was taken and there was no notification that they would be closing. I left several phone messages during the first couple of months of the year, none were returned. Then finally the phone was disconnected.
I don't know how they can sell with out owners signatures. Does anyone know who the new owners are or how to find out?
All owners should put a lien against the property.

This is no longer a timeshare, it was sold out from under the timeshare owners without notice. From Bay News 9 web site:
Out in the cold
Monday, December 4, 2006
Some timeshare owners who flew cross country or drove for days have arrived at their St. Pete Beach timeshares to find they had no place to stay. The timeshare property, Camelot by the Sea, has been sold and the company that now owns the property says the 1,024 timeshare owners can no longer stay there. The building is locked and no trespassing signs are posted. "I arrived today," said Marilyn Miracle, who drove from Kentucky to use her timeshare week. "The place is locked up and they tell me I have no place to stay." Miracle said she's owned the timeshare since the 1980s.

We have been owners here for several years and feel like it is our home away from home. The staff is very friendly and will always go the extra mile for you. There is a lovely pool and game area as well as daily activites. The beach is across the street and it is cleaned daily and it's rarely crowded. The water is warm and crystal clear. We have never found a better place to walk on the beach and our 2 year old played happily in the gentle surf. There are so many things to do within 30 miles.

Nice condo with plenty of space and a beautiful view of the beach. Many area attractions are near by, with plenty of golf for those linkers and great fishing for those anglers. The condo has excellent trading power and bonus RCI weeks are also available.
