Very friendly and helpful hotel staff and excellent food, although better to have food in the bar rather than the restaurant as service there was slow and inefficient (you can have the restaurant menu in the bar).
Overall clean and well presented although there was repair work going on when we were there (May 06).
Sunterra rep - couldnt quite put my finger on it but found he didnt really care if you had a good time if you werent interesting in buying more timeshare (points), he wasnt receptive to comments when he asked us for feedback on the resort. Not helpful at all.
Places to visit: Spitzingsee, Linderhof, Salzburg, Cheimsee, Bad Tolz, Neuschwanstein.
Places to eat: Ratsch'n - brilliant food, friendly host, reasonable prices!
