In the ten years I have visited the cape this was one of the worst travel experiences I have ever had. Upon arrival the room wreaked of heavy stale smoke, even though it was advertised as a non-smoking room. The townhouses are spacious but have not been updated since the early 1970s. You could not call this a resort because it is run-down and the advertised “beach” was a square plot that was closed because of a shellfish infestation. The staff (the two elderly owners who live in the complex) repeatedly kept walking by our room. Additionally, you could not completely close the drapes, therefore one could see into your room. In fact we were so irked by the creepy nature of the owners and non-existent staff members that we decided to leav
