stayed here in nov 2006 and it was everything we were promised. Very nice,clean and convenient. Free shuttle was always there . Short walk to strip or hard rock which we did several times. got a good cheap steak and shrimp meal at lucky's (hard rock) $7.77 not on menu all you gotta do is ask. We are already looking to stay here again

I truly enjoy staying at Fairfield Resorts. We have come to expect the best and each Fairfield resort never fails to disappoint us. Grand Desert is a luxurious resort, the units are impressive! The resort is a couple of blocks from the strip, the walk is easy but they also have a shuttle that runs every 20 minutes. Parking is plentiful and we also appreciate the fully equipped kitchens. Being diabetic, the kitchen is necessary for my diet. Between the pools and the exercise room, I can get my daily expercise easily. There is also a small cafe that spills out onto the second floor patio/pool area.

This resort is everything I have come to expect from Fairfield. The fact that I was able to be at a resort enjoying all the comforts of home and be real close to "THE STRIP" was great. My parents went with me and they were impressed too. The Grand Desert has a shuttle that will take you directly to the Harrah's Casino. The property is clean and everyone was friendly. Beautiful pools and lots of activities. The fact that we had a full kitchen and washer/dryer allowed us to save on what we have had to spend at Casino's in the past on unannounced taxes and fees, plus we did not have to worry ourselves over the monotonous amount of taxi rides. I loved it!
