Gold Point is by far the most spacious of any condominium that we have stayed at over the past 15 years. The furniture and finish of the units are all top notch with much exposed oak woodwork. It is quiet and its day and night views of Breckenridge make the cost seem minimal. While the road up the mountain might seem daunting even after three feet of snow in three days it was still passable in even the family mini van. For those who do not want to drive after they are in the resort the free county transportation system makes regular stops at the front gate. Hiking and mountian bike/cross country ski and snow mobile trails that extend well above tree line start just a block away.

Gold Point is an excellent resort for families and other parties who do not want to try to sleep in the middle of resort partiers. It is above Breckenridge about 1,000 feet on the side of Baldy Mountain. It has a direct, excellent view of Breckenridge ski area.
The resort is professionally managed and kept up-to-date and totally clean. Each building has its own hot tub eliminating the need for running barefoot through the snow, and each unit is very spacious with vaulted ceilings.
