Loch Rannoch is hidden away amid 250 acres of breathtaking Perthshire countryside. Marvel at the rugged mountains, lochs, winding rivers, and thick woodlands as you visit local distilleries, castles, craft centers, and famous historical sites. Loch Rannoch was home to J.M. Barrie, the creator of Peter Pan, and there is an exhibition nearby dedicated to his life. For the more adventurous there is abseiling, white-water rafting, canoeing, fishing, and hill walking in the area.
Rannoch is one of the most scenic and rewarding parts of Highland Perthshire, Scotland. Despite its wild and unspoilt beauty it is quite accessible being only 50 miles from Perth.
The Loch is 10 miles long.
