We own a time share here and couldn't be happier. As others have said, there are fancier places, but we love Kamaole because it's comfortable and quiet and the beach is terrific. the condo is well-equipped with everything we need, and if there's a problem, the staff is happy to assist. We also like the location: close to Wailea, but not with the expense, and also, the people here are so nice and friendly.

My husband & I have stayed at Kamaole every January for the last 6 yrs, and it is our favorite resort - even tho we own fancier places, and the big reason is the beach access is so much better than much more expensive places we stay. Every unit faces the ocean. All 1 bed units are on the ground floor, great if you don't like stairs. This is not a huge place, so you get more of a family feeling. Activites director, Ron, is very knowledgeable about the island, having lived there many years, and can help you plan a great vacation! We have made many great friends here, people we look forward to seeing every year. Generally an all around great place to stay.

We had a great time at the Kamaole Beach Club. The rooms were great. The location was perfect (right across from the beach). The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an upstairs unit and the view was amazing! I can't wait to come back.

The units were clean and comfy. It is not a five star by any means but it is nice. The staff are kind and helpful and provide recreational gear for your use. What you can't find can be located across the street at Boss Frogs.
Location wise it is great. Everything is right close. It was perfect.
There is no air conditioning which left us rather hot inside our unit. Fortunately you can lock the front wire/metal screen door in the open position for cross ventilation with the back. Upstairs is very hot.
The main problems we encountered were ANTS in the unit. We were careful with our food but still the bugs managed to attack us at night even in our beds upstairs. They also are around the folliage at the pool. I'd go again

Fantastic location! So much within walking distance. Unit was clean and nicely decorated. Husband loved that golf was so close by. Less than 2 min walk to beach from our door. The grounds were immaculately kept. Relaxing place to stay! Everyone was so friendly! Friends came with us and stayed in a different unit and they loved Kamaole too!
