If you have a unit in between the buildings, parking sucks. Otherwise, they do have a lot of nice ammenities (indoor pool, spa, activity room, pool, boat docks and more). If you're not sure what to do there, they have a weekly activity list for their place and the surrounding area. The front desk is always very friendly and accomodating. Running late for check in, even in the middle of the night, is no problem for them. People do get lost if they're not use to the Big Bear Lake area. They do require a deposit when you reserve, even if you're an owner. But you get the deposit back if you've left the room intact. The area is beautiful. Bring your camera.

Lagonita Lodge is very nice, clean, conveniently close to everything, with enough amenities (Clubhouse, pool, BBQ, etc), right on the shores of Big Bear Lake, and away from the main street (Big Bear Lk Blvd) so you'll also have peace and quiet while enjoying your vacation.
