I am a new owner and I was very impressed with the staff and the no pressure to buy approach they use to present their properties. We toured two different rooms, each occupied at the time, and were very impressed with how wonderful it would be to stay in a Maison Pierre Lafitte condo. I can't wait to use my week and stay in complete comfort. Restorations are nearly complete but transparent to the owners/renters. The Staff and Owner treated us like royalty. They even bought us Diet Cokes! You should really consider Maison Pierre Lafitte when buying or renting a resort condo. It's all about location and this place in the perfect location for staying in New Orleans

Now that the renovations are completed. This resort is was one of the best I have ever experienced. The staff went out of their way to accomodate us. The room was beautiful and the building's security guard and code entry front door made me feel safe at night.

We were supposed to stay here Feb 27-Mar 5, but fled after two nights. It was filthy - I could write my name in dust in the bedroom. But what caused us to leave was the renovation. When we checked in we were told they wouldn't begin working until after 10:30 AM - what they didn't say was they would work until 3:30 AM on Saturday night - laying new flooring in the unit above ours, tile in our hallway, and running up and down the fire escape (located behind our headboard) yelling to each other!
