This is a RCI Resort of International Distinction, & you'll see why when you come to experience life under the Big trees! Big Tree National Park, just up the road, has not just "big trees" but, enormous trees! You won't find them any where else, not like this! It's like another world in there, among the ferns and misty morning haze. Be prepared for a sore neck though, you won't be able to resist sizing up each and every tree of distinction along the park's many paths. The resort itself is full of amenities, and has the largest condos I've seen, lots of room for our large family! The towns offer movies, live theater, antiques and restaurants. The gold mining town was fun too. There's Calaveras Caverns and that was awsome to see! TOP DRAWER

This is a very large, beautiful two-story CONDO, (not some converted apartment!)The mountains go forever, Giant Sequoia National Park minutes up the road!Though I live 9 hrs south of here, the amazing natural beauty of this mountain resort lures me back! The surrounding mountain towns offer various entertainments so there's always something for everyone! Things like the Annual Frog Jumping contest, the breath-taking Calaveras Caverns, trees you could drive a car through,& the fact Mark Twain used to live here, all add unusual fun to your vacation under the Giant trees!Out-of-staters, go visit Yosemite too & experience the unforgettable majesty of that piece of earthly perfection, with all the emotion of the Grand Canyon, but FAR more beautiful!
