We recently stayed at the River Run Condominiums for 3 nights, but were scheduled to stay for 6. We called ahead for a special request 3 months in advance (to be on the first flloor), and were told that we would be accomodated, needless to say by the extent of our stay that we weren't. Our room was small, missing ammenities, and the hallways emitted a foul odor.
The funny thing is, my mother stayed there a year ago and had a similar experience. I was sure that our stay would be different, as was reassured by our timeshare exchange company (RCI). Clearly, it wasn't.
Thank God North Conway was nearby, and the Mountain had activities that permitted us not to deal with the resort staff.
Overall, I would not recommend this resort
