Wondering if anyone is happy with their purchase at Surrey Vacation Resorts. I was roped into a presentation in Kansas City several years ago, and was totaly turned off by the numerous misrepresentations made. They wanted over $22,000 for a single deeded week, and touted the investment value (said it would appreciate like any other real estate, said I could refinance with a traditional mortgage, and that it was OK to buy without even seeing the property because it would be easy to rent it out or trade my week in Branson for a week in any number of exotic locations. I did the math, essentially they were wanting over $1.1 million for this condo, plus over $24,000 per year in maint. fees. Just wondering what the ownership exp is like.
