The Kimball is the best place to stay for a genealogical researcher. It is only 1 block (through historic Temple Square) away from the largest genealogical Library in the world. The resort itself is well-kept and is more of an apartment than a hotel. With a full kitchen and dining room, one can prepare and eat a meal easily. Or spread your genealogy on the dining room table instead of a hotel room bed and eat in front of the cable TV. The staff is helpful, and laundry is onsite. Very pretty.
