Resort is beautifully maintained, spacious and peacefull. Very close to the gorgeous white sand Holmes Beach on the Gulf of Mexico and conviently located near shopping and a variety of dining choices. Anna Maria Island has old Florida charm. The resort has daily planned activities for adults and children and is affiliated with two other nearby resorts where you can fish from their dock.Had a great time and can't wait to return.

Doesn't cater to families with teenagers.I had a family of 6 staying in the 2 bed unit.They only gave me 4 towels,when I asked for more,they refused and said I had enough. I took my four kids to the pool and the management had a fit within 15 minutes. We were celebrating a birthday and invited a friend and her kids to the resort with permission and were accused of harboring more people in the room. The toilet overflowed at midnight and I had to change rooms. I was disappointed I had booked it for 3 nights at $175 when the sign out front says $99 summer rate. I was told to never return because they didn't like me and that I should've booked with Tradewinds. I have never been treated like this before and have vis

We bought our first timeshare week here last spring sight unseen. After a June stay we immediately purchased a 2nd week. Spacious 1,500-1,600 square foot, 2BR, 2.5BA townhome style units. Pool and spa onsite; beach across the street. Very close to amenities of Manatee Public Beach (playground, gift shop, restaurant, life guards). Pretty beach and nice swimming.

Umbrella Beach is a wonderful small resort. Really good standard of accommodation, a good on-site swimming pool and a short walk from a white sandy beach. Supermarket and shops a short walk away so you don't have to drive all week if you don't want to. The neighbors(owners) are friendly. A really wonderful quiet holiday.
