I agree completely with Craig Coulson's review. As long as I lived on the West Coast it was a favorite vacation at least once a year, but now that I live on the East Coast I've been using it only as an RCI trade, and find that I would really prefer to have a time share closer to my home. I wish I could still go to Wapato regularly. It's so perfectly beautiful and relaxing. It's great for children, too, with its varied amenities and immense resort area for them to explore. One of my favorite ways to enjoy Wapato was to take the day trip by boat to Stehekin at the other end of the long, long, lake. Stehekin can only be reached by boat and by air - a terrific experience!

I can surely attest to why this is called "the most sought after resort in Washington" the lake is great, fantastic beach, golfing nearby, hiking, fishing, horseback riding - so many things for everyone in the family that I can't list them all - and the area is so secluded from the hustle and bustle of the big city that I tended to forget there was another world out there.
Our stay here last year was just wonderful and my family has fallen in love with this little peace of heaven-on-earth!
I highly reccommend this to anyone wanting to escape and enjoy a truely wonderful time of rest and relaxation for the whole family. We've now made this a yearly tradition.
