We absolutely love this resort. The cabins are well appointed and have everything you need. The location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is very good and easy to get in and out of. The cabins we have stayed in have a gas fireplace and jacuzzi tubs. Washers and Dryers are in each unit. The kitchens have most everything you need to cook meals at the cabin. The resort has many amenities including a waterpark. Riding stables are located at the top of the resort mountain and there are many other planned activities. This is just an all-around nice place to vacation! (I always feel safe here also, as opposed to some of the private cabins we've rented around the area in the past!)

I stayed at the Westgate Gatlinburg resort last week and absolutely loved it, not wanting to come home. The rooms were very accomodating. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this resort to anyone who loves the log cabin atmosphere coupled with the mountains and streams.

I have vacationed at the Westgate Resort in Gatlinburg, TN for 4 years in a row. It is a beautiful resort with many desirable ammenities. Most cabins have a full kitchen, dining area, living room, fireplace and spa tub. It is located in an area that has breath-taking views and is quiet and peaceful, yet it is only minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. There are always plenty of things to do at the resort like horseback riding, swimming, health fitness facility and there are activities planned each day like crafts, bingo, cookouts and campfire story-telling. It is just a wonderful place for people of all ages. I highly recommend this 5 star resort!

Westgate is a wonderful place to take the family or just spend romantic quality time with your mate. Creeks are running by the cabins. There are horse rides, fishing, swimming, Dolly Splash Country, Ohara's casino, etc. Everybody needs to spend time in Gatlinburg Tennessee and go to Cades Cove. You can hand feed hundreds of deer at a time. They gather all around you.

I have stayed at Westgate 2 years in a row now. There is so much to do, a week is not enough time to do it all. It's nestled between the Smoky Mtns & Dollywood. Ripley's Believe It Or Not & Aquarium, Cades Cove, helicopter rides, go kart racing, skiing, ice skating, live bears, hiking, fishing, rafting and much more are available. There are 2 onsite pools. One is indoors, in case of rain. Both are heated. Horse stables are on sight. An onsite resturant & wave pool are in the making. Entertainment & family cookouts at the pool are available throughout the week. The units have full kitchens, if you prefer to cook. Each unit has it's own safe, iron & ironing board, dishwasher, satelite t.v., stereo, pull out sofa that makes into a bed.

Staying at WG-Smoky Mts. is like staying in a modern log cabin. You have all the modern conveniences but in a country setting. WG has pool side bar-b-ques with free food and friendly employees. There is also a country band playing for your entertainment. Let's not forget about the free breakfast down at the lodge. If you enjoy horseback riding and working out in the gym, these activities are available to you also.
