We just returned from a weeks stay in Welches. The weather was beautiful. There was plenty of entertainment to do within a 30 minute drive of the resort. The favorite was the slide at SkiBowl Ski Resort. It was inexpensive and a lot of fun.
The resort itself is well taken care of. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Of the ten years that we have had a timeshare, this resort was the best maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary utensils.
Must sees if you visit: Ski Bowl, Oregon Chocolate factory (incredible chocolate, returned often), Sandercock U-pick blueberries, Multnomah falls, Mt. Hood, and the many lakes for a relaxing afternoon of fishing and nature walks
