The Grandview at Las Vegas just celebrated its fifth birthday last year, October 2009. The Sage building opened on October 4, 2004 and the Primrose building opened shortly after that on December 14, 2004. The Sage building will go through different stages of refurbishment this year. After completing Sage, the refurbishment project will continue throughout the property. The Sage and Primrose are the two buildings most requested, by returning guests, as they both overlook the two main swimming pools and the waterfall feature. Another 400 units will be added this year to offer timeshare vacations in 1,856 one bedroom units. This is the largest number of rooms of any timeshare in Las Vegas. The Grandview at Las Vegas makes sure that everyone of the guests feels welcome. It is the staff's goal to make each guest feel like they are home. Visit the majestic creatures housed at The Lion Habitat, MGM Grand's showcase for public education and appreciation. Take a thrill ride on the Big Shot - the Stratosphere's thrilling 180-feet free-fall ride. Enjoy the sights of Las Vegas from the observation deck 50 stories above the Strip on the replica Eiffel Tower at Paris. Catch Cirque du Soleil at Treasure Island or one of the mystifying magic shows at the Venetian. Madame Tussaud's Celebrity Encounter, M&M World and the Liberace Museum are also nearby. You can also hike in scenic Red Rock Canyon, take a riverboat cruise on Lake Mead and learn about the inner workings of the Hoover Dam.
