Ogunquit Beach is a short walk away. The Marginal Walkway Path starts across the street from the resort. Marginal Way, which is a 1 ¼ mile long footpath that sinuously winds along the rock-bound coastline that joins the village center to the harbor. Very close to nearly shops and restaurants. While in Ogunquit visit local specialty stores for clothing and souvenirs as well as handmade crafts and knickknacks. Eat in a variety of dining establishments who specialize in lobster rolls, clam/seafood chowder, and homemade chocolates. If you enjoy this area a couple other resorts to try are The Falls at Ogunquit or Hillcrest Condominiums.
If you are looking for a day trip, travel a little over an hour south for a day in historic Boston, Massachusetts. Shop at Quincy Market and Faneiul Hall, have dinner at the North End which specializes in Italian cuisine or enjoy the many seafood restaurants. If you have the time go to Fenway Park and take in a Red Sox game. Take a trolley tour and see all the historic events that occurred in Boston. Make the most of your New England vacation.
