North Beach Resort overlooks beautiful Potato Lake and easily attracts visitors with its array of activities, such as fishing, sailing, and other water sports, along with volleyball, basketball, a heated indoor pool, and a playground. In winter, the nearest ski slopes are at Detroit Mountain and Buena Vista, both within 60 miles. Snowmobile trails lead right from North Beach Resort's front door, or you can cross-country ski at Itasca State Park 14 miles away. All units are two-bedroom (maximum occupancy 6) with 1.5 baths, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds and 1 sleep sofa. Each unit at North Beach has a television with DVD player, a fireplace, and a full kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave. There are no telephones in the units. However, a phone is located on-site. The resort has two levels and no elevator. A car is recommended to fully enjoy the area. Ski seasons vary; contact the resort to verify dates. Resort features include beach, boating, fishing, lake, playground area, sauna, and telephone. Local area features are casinos, downhill skiing, golf, grocery store, hairdresser, horseback riding, indoor swimming pool, live entertainment, medical facilities, shopping area, and ski school.
