Just returned from a week at Banff Rocky Mountain Resort. This resort is undergoing major renovations and they have done a wonderful job! What a dramatic difference from a few years ago. The units, though not big due to park restrictions, are more that adequate. The staff is friendly and housekeeping does an excellent job mid-week when they clean your unit. The free shuttle bus into downtown Banff is great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We have stayed here in summertime and wintertime. No matter when you go, there is always numerous activities to do. The resort will take you on several different tours. If you want to stay at the resort, there is a pool and hot tub, gym, raquetball and tennis courts for the sportslovers. Satelite TV is available and also a VCR machine. Visit the hotsprings or go for walks and see the elk on the trails. You can go skiing in the winter season.
