We spent a week at the Donatello and had a great time... fantastic views of SF Bay, nice gym/facilities, nice rooms. The location was also pretty convenient and we were able to walk to most destinations. Our favorite restaurant was the Farallon (worth checking out if you like seafood)

One block from Union Square. World class shopping, cable cars, symphony, theater and restaurants minutes away. Wonderful city views on 15th floor patio. Easy access to Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown and all city attractions.
