Deer Run Village is renovating all their units-
48 and common area and more than half of the units have now been completed (10/2007.)
I recently stayed in unit "1 O" with view of the lake and it was great- new carpet, new furniture, new drapes - bathroom and overall was very clean. Some carpets in the common area still need to be installed. The managing staff has always been friendly and helpful so you won't be disappointed if you are looking for clean and quiet place to stay. Also was told that one should visit Turning Point Casino about
1.5hrs drive from the village which is better than Foxwood. But if you are looking for a great Spa- plenty in nearby areas.
