We just returned yesterday and was there for the Ironman Competition. We stayed in the 2nd phase on a lower level. The units are excellent and new. They are fully furnished, all you need are groceries. No dining on site but within walking distance. Kona is a nice city. The weather is always warm and humid. Beautiful views of the ocean from the upper units. Phase 3 is just starting and will be the last phase. Fairfield Properties are the deeded owners and are great. We will purchase again on our next trip. Check out the website and pictures.

The unit was in the second of three phases of building on the resort site. I was pleased to say that construction didn't take anything away from the wonderful vacation we enjoyed. I can't wait to see what they will add next! This is the most romantic resort that Tom and I have stayed in so far, and it really made the long trip to Hawaii worth every dollar and every minute spent!
Aloha!

We loved it there as it is so spacious and has the great big jacuzzi bathtub in the
master bedroom. It has a great hawaiian feeling! The grounds are kept well and the
staff was very nice.

The check in went quickly and we were in our suite within an hour of landing. Then, we found that the unit was one of the most pleasant we have ever used. Very nicely appointed and wonderful decorations and paintings. Both bedrooms have king size beds and the greatest pillows,( in fact I am trying to find out how we can get some of them from administration.)
The air conditioning worked flawlessly, I can't remember any repair issues. Joyce really enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub, and contrary to a previous review, it stays warm for the entire 20 minute cycle. We were in unit 3b, building 2 lower since Joyce doesn't do stairs well. The resort is laid out extremely well, the archaeological sites make for great separations between units and the pool
