I stayed at the Highlands Resort in Cornville in March 2008 and had a lot of fun. They have a heated pool, a jacuzzi and an adult jacuzzi for people over 12 years I believe. The location is great; it is very close to Out of Africa, wineries, Jerome, Sedona, Verde Valley Railroad and right down the street from a variety of restaurants. The fitness center and laundry services were free which I really liked as well.
The downside - the resort is extremely small, the staff will try to get you to sit in on their time share presentation, it’s close to the high trafficked Cornville Road, and the biggest downer – if you’re in a room with a door being shared with another room, you can hear everything that’s that’s happening in that other room!
