I've gone to Mauna Loa Village 5 years in a row and have never been unhappy with my stay. The units are always clean with all the features you expect in a home away from home. A large color TV in the Living Room and a smaller TV in the bedroom. A full Kitchen for cooking. You save a bundle on eating out. Complimentary Kona coffee in the kitchen when you arrive. The staff is very friendly. The Hawaii visitors TAX is half what you would pay in a Hotel. The pools around the grounds are excellent along with the jukuzzi's. There are eight pools at the Resort and that makes you feel like you have your own private pool. Your only 5 minute walk from the Ocean. Gas grills are on the grounds so you can cook out side in Paradise.

Mauna Loa Village by the Sea is one of the most comfortable, pleasant, friendly, and hospitable vacation locations in the Islands. It's a short distance to town, where one can fish, sail, snorkle, scuba, parasail and much much more. Astronomy buff? Visit the Mauna Loa Observatories at 14,000 ft - open to the public, free admission. Visit the City of Refuge, the Parker Ranch, Volcano National Park - with its ACTIVE volcano. All these are but a short drive from Mauna Loa Village. Resort personnel are wonderful! MLV never is crowded. It's adjacent to a golf course, naturally! Come visit!
