I stayed at this resort in December of 2006 and had a beautiful large clean quiet modern room in the new part overlooking the mirror pool.I could see the pools and the ocean from my balcony which I loved. Some people preferred the older building right at the oceanside. People seemed to really enjoy the pools and programs as well as the breakfast specials, gym, and other restaurant and bar but I enjoyed most swimming in the protected area in the ocean and being able to walk to the marina nearby with a variety of restaurants and entertainment. I also enjoyed being in a quiet beautiful safe area of town but being able to take a bus downtown for only about 50 cents.It was fun exploring the beach which went on forever at sunset.Great staff too!

This has become our favorite resort. We always thought Maui and Kawaii were the best, but they are too far away and have become too expensive. The Mayan Palace in Puerto Vallarta is a top notch resort with wonderful beach, pools, facilities and service. The rooms are large and especially well appointed relative to other Mexican resorts. Their 3 restaurants offer great food and value. We also enjoy the clean, inviting marina across the street with its many inexpensive restaurants and magnificent yachts. Puerto Vallarta is a safe, friendly city. The water everywhere is safe.

A modern, clean and beautifully appointed beach front property.
Walking distance to the Marina. The food in their restaurant is exceptional and reasonably priced. All units boast ocean views. This facility has multiple pools and recreation and entertainment. The staff are friendly and accomodating. You are greeted by a giant sculpture/fountain with soothing music as you enter the main building. There is a sense of relaxed elegance as you walk toward the main pool and shopping and recreation areas. The suites are beautifully furnished and sparkle with clean modern kitchens and baths. Buses and taxis are readily available to take you shopping, touring, dining and dancing in downtown Puerto Vallarta. There is something here for everyone.
