This resort is amazing. There are plenty of restaurants and the pool is huge with swim up bars. The golf course is a par 54 but the most difficult I have ever played. The rooms were awesome and the staff very friendly and courteous. This was by far the best resort that my wife and I have ever stayed.

This resort is amazing. We were there in November, 2004. Rooms are comfortable, kitchens adequate. Several restaurants, all very good. Tons of poolside lounge chairs, two swim-up bars, lots of daily activities for all ages (many seem geared toward young adults). They offer shows every evening with a variety of themes, similar to those found on a cruise. Service is excellent everywhere. They are completing a large recreation center now. Lovely beach, there are even a few hammocks for an afternoon siesta. We rented a car but found the local bus service to be convenient and easy to use, not to mention very economical, especially to Playa del Carmen. Many eco-parks in the area, in addition to several picturesque towns and villages.

This is a very large and amazing place. There is something for everyone here and in the surrounding areas: A wonderful ferry ride to Cozumel has already been mentioned with some of the best Scuba diving in the world. There are fantastic Maya Ruins all around. A must see is the Ruins in Tulum which are the most recent ruins of the Maya civilization located on a cliff overlooking the sea..truly a sight to behold. Numerous ecological theme parks dot the area as well as wonderful guided trips to others somewhat out of the way. There are what the Mexicans call cenotes, which are sinkholes made that have filled with fresh water. You can dive or snorkle in them. It is an absolutly wonderful area that needs to be experienced-they are gorgeous

This resort is incredible- halfway between Cancun & Playa del Carmen - tons of activities available. Largest pool in Mexico, great golf course - food is absolutely incredible, staff is very friendly. Take a ferry ride from Playa to Cozumel (1/2 hour). Go shopping in Playa on 5th avenue. Xcaret - theme park with underground caverns to snorkel through, go to Mayan Ruins (Chitzen Itza). National Reef Park off of Cozumel to go snorkeling. There is so much fun stuff to do. Or you could just relax with a poolside massage while staff wait on you hand and foot. Very impressive resort. Tours will take you anywhere you want to go, or rent a car if you want to drive. We rented one for $175 for the week and had no problems getting around.

This resort is large and full of activities and amenities- enough to keep most people busy for a full week or longer. It has claim to the largest swimming pool in Latin America and there are several restaurants, stores, and activities. It is located away from the Cancun's famed "Hotel Zone", and that can be both good and bad.
