Riptide Beach Club gets a bad rap from a lot of reviewers on internet sites. It is a small resort, but has always been clean, very accessible, and friendly. we have been owners since 1986, and use it generally at easter. Our children always have fun, and we always enjoy the close poximity to the beach. We spend alot of timein MB, and this is the closest we have ever been to the beach. The resort is located close to downtown, which is currently changing its' face to be a more upscale place. I think Riptide will beocme extremely desireable one the downtown facelift is complete. Do not going here expecting a 5 star resort, but certainly go knowing that you can have a good time. Myrtle Beach can be a tough place to get a place to stay.

Riptide Beach Club has provided my family with years of fun in the sun during the winter months. From the morning ocean sunrise to watching the seagulls by the Captains Resturant ocean light at night there is always a feeling of being at the beach. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and the other guests good people. More intimate than a large highrise, this timeshare has become a place for family gatherings. Broadway on the Beach is so convienient, about a mile inland.
Golf, trips, crafts, cookouts & bingo have always been available during our stay. I've enjoyed visiting during all the winter months-shopping, exercising, eating out and taking in the shows. Parking has never been a problem. Riptide is like a home away from home

This is a great place to go. Directly on the beautiful Myrtile Beachs. Pools over look the ocean. Nice People staying there. Room clean and well maintained. Washer and Dryer on premises. Parking across the street, easy. Ocean View provides a great morning sun rise.
