Lovely resort high in the mountains; nature abounds, but with week 22 around Memorial Day pools were only opened on the weekend; with coming in on a Sat. to Sat. only one day use of an outdoor pool-indoor pool was small and somewhat dirty. Shops and boutiques in small towns around the area closed from Sunday through Tuesday with nothing to do 2 or 3 days. Drove to the state park and then to another park that has horse back riding and canoeing on the river. Not many restaurants in town other than what is in the resort - no good breakfast places except Sunday at the country club but hardly anyone there. Boats not available for rent on lake until after kids get out of school. Need to think of timeshare owners-not just kids.

Truly wonderful. A great place if you have children, also.
