Outstanding resort nestled 4 miles away from the casinos, overlooking Lake Tahoe and the Nevada Sierras. Free snowshoeing is my favorite pastime up here. Oh ya, the private gondola that takes you right to the slopes of Heavenly is also an outstanding feature when it is snowing and you don't feel like putting on the chains to drive and unpack the skiis etc. The massage therapists are some of the best in the world, and the indoor-outdoor pool is always a joy.

The Ridge Tahoe is located about 10 min up the hill directly behind Caesars Palace. There are several different condo selections within the resort - and we have stayed at them all. We even bought a timeshare there and love the forest smell, the beautiful night lights over looking Reno Valley, the large wooden patios at the Nagels condo, the all mirrored glass entry at the Towers condo, the quietness and well decorated units - not to mention the club house restaurant, spa, pools, sports bubble

Located on the Nevada side of beautiful South Lake Tahoe, The Ridge has a ski lift directly serving the huge Heavenly Valley ski complex. Fresh mountain air, mild temps, and incredible vistas ensure a wonderful winter vacation. And Tahoe is a great 4 season destination too. Resort busses take you to the front door of several famous casinos. For outdoor enthusiasts, the summer and fall months are terrific for mountain biking, rock climbing and kayaking in this alpine incredible playground.
