Quiet resort with nice amenities. The indoor pool is family friendly (not too deep). Week 19, when I've been, usually has a number of children on weekends but come Monday it seems to be adults only so it's pretty quiet. The resort itself is small, and hides away in the woods. It's near hiking trails (or varying lengths) and Pinkham Notch Camp. I've seen many people enjoying spring skiing, during week 19. When we were younger, my husband and I hiked the mountain trails by day and returned to our comfy unit to enjoy sitting in the sauna and soaking in the jacuzzi. Now that's my idea of "roughing it"! Quiet, peaceful, convenient. Close to North Conway shopping so the non-hikers in your group will have something to do too.

We love staying at Wildcat Townhouse Resort, whether summer or winter. A short stroll across the street takes you to the Glen Ellis River for wonderful swimming or trail hiking in summer, snowshoeing in winter. It is centrally located to all the attractions, Jackson Village, Wildcat Mountain, Storyland for the children. Units have everything you could need.
