Deschutes River Ranch offers a fine selection of local attractions and a variety of outdoor recreation activities that make this area a timeshare vacation favorite. Deschutes River Resort is pretty arid usually, though December brings a lot of rain. July is the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, Deschutes River offers some delightful whitewater, and some close by water includes Shitike Creek. At Deschutes River Resort exciting stuff to do is plentiful. Deschutes River Ranch is near Negro Brown Canyon which is worth a visit. A tour to Peter Skene Ogden State Park is a pleasant idea.
