The Islander offers an average temperature of 74 degrees and 361days of sunshine! The Islander offers one and two bedroom units, sleeping up to six comfortably. Come enjoy the white sandy beaches, relaxing Jacuzzi at poolside, heated swimming pool, shuffleboard courts, gas barbeque grills, color TV and cable, coin operated guest laundry, linens and towels, 24 hour telephone service, local shops within walking and just a short drive away, and the numerous restaurants nearby. The local area is a golfer's paradise and offers the Pinellas Trail, a 47 mile hiking/biking trail connecting St. Petersburg with Central and north Pinellas County -- the longest urban linear trail in the eastern U.S. Busch Gardens and Sunken Gardens are in the area, and Walt Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios are only a 90-minute drive. Favorite spectator sports include casino cruises and dog racing. St. Petersburg's Salvador Dali Museum and Lowry Park Zoo are among the area attractions, with Busch Gardens within a 90-minute drive.
