Deer Run Village is a timeshare resort located in Stamford, New York. Deer Run Village features lakefront units in the northern Catskill Mountains. On-site is an indoor/outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, exercise room, and game room. Year-round activities in the Catskills include downhill and cross-country skiing in winter; boating, tennis, fitness trail, picnicking, horseback riding, and golfing in summer; and hunting and fishing in season. On site amenities include indoor/outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool, exercise room, and a game room. The location is one of the best features of this resort. It is about 30 minutes from various attractions, such as the Baseball Hall of Fame, Soccer Hall of Fame, and Howe Caverns. The resort personnel and the guests are very friendly. It has a very homey, small-town feel. They even had a campfire at the beginning and end of the week. This is a very relaxing vacation. The pool sits on a small pond and a nice breeze is often present. Lounge chairs adorn the swimming pool. The countryside is breathtaking and you can fish outside your back door off the deck.

Another beautiful resort is Villa Roma Resort Lodges. Villa Roma Resort Lodges is located in the Sullivan County Catskills is a 2 1/2 hr drive from NYC. Villa Roma Hotel and Resort has on site amenities that include, skiing, an indoor racquet ball club, indoor and outdoor pools, sports complex, indoor tennis center, bowling alleys, health club snowmobile trails and nightclub. There is an 18 hole PGA championship golf course and clubhouse with restaurant, steakhouse and bar.
