Greensprings Plantation Resort was built on part of the original Greensprings Plantation site owned by the 17th century royal Governor, Sir William Berkeley. Alas, the large manor house was lost to antiquity, but the good life lives on at Greensprings. Designed as an extended-stay, time-share property, special arrangements have been made to accept on-line reservations at this exclusive and comfortable resort. All units include two full bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Resort amenities include indoor & outdoor swimming pools with hot tubs and cabanas, exercise room, lighted tennis courts, and playground for children. One of the best golf courses in the region Williamsburg National is on the property and historic Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg are just minutes away. Outlet shopping is a quick trip north on Centerville Road or go east and there's the newest shopping center around, Monticello Marketplace. There is convenient access to Route 199, making the trip to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA, only minutes away. Quality Restaurants are close by with The Cities Grill and The Kitchen at Powhatan within a five minute drive. Add a minute to that and you have lighter fare at Shackleford's at the Monticello Marketplace.
