Post a resort review for Eagle Trace at Killy Court

Dan McCabe

Massanutten, the resort is great. The kids live at the new water park. Plenty to do. The unit in Eagle Trace at Killy Court is another story. The unit is a modular unit manufactured in 1988. That was the last time the furniture and the rug was replaced. There is a sticky stain on the carpet next to the kitchen counter, there is some unidentified substance on the garbage disposal switch. The whole unit just feels dirty. The "B" side of the unit (just a bed and bathroom) makes me think I'm in a cheap motel. This part of Massanutten obviously isn't RCI Gold Crown. When booked through RCI, unit is assigned at booking and cannot be changed "for any reason".

Massanutten is a great 4-season resort and has a lovely setting. It's in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and is only 1-2 hours away from Washington, DC, Richmond and Charlottesville. Eagle Trace is close to the golf course, swimming pool, sports center and restaurant. The amenities are many and you'll enjoy watching the deer and viewing the mountains even while golfing. Massanutten is rated in the top three resort areas of choice, second only to Florida and Hawaii.
