Resort Reviews for Island Links Resort

We stayed in a 3 bedroom during April of 2012 in one of the newer buildings. The week long visit was a golf vacation. The resort is well located for Hilton Head golf courses as well as a short drive to off the island courses. The unit was clean, everything worked well and we had a view of local course from our balcony. They did try to sell us a timeshare when we checked in but we own 2 weeks and just passed on the sales presentation. Overall it was a pleasant stay and the surrounding area had lots of beautiful oak trees with hanging moss.

The resort is beautiful, but be sure to skip attending any sales presentation. These guys are crooks and fraudulent scammers. Stay away! They said they would sell another time share that we had to trade for this. If it didn't sell, they would bite the cost. We paid $1000 down to cover legal costs of deed transfers. It's been 5 mos, no transfers have happened. Maintenance fees were to be lowered from the old time share to $300/yr. Got a bill for $971 for HOA, which probably isn't even a maintenance fee. Stay away. Don't even go there!!

We are here right now and its just lovely. Large rooms, well- appointed, wi-fi setup, flat screen tv, new everything. Our balcony looks out over the driving range. Its quite nice and we're very pleasantly surprised. We only hoped it would be this nice!

This is an outstanding resort. The pool is terrific. We stayed in a two bedroom with my brother's family. Everyone had a great time the kids enjoyed the game room in the club house. I enjoyed it so much that I just recently purchased a island links 3 bed / 3 bath resale.

The resort is located near many luxury golf courses and just a quick ride to the beach for the kids.

We were surprised at how big these units were. They sit on the golf course and it was nice to watch the golfers go by. The club house was large and the developers treated us to a free cook out. Everything was top of the line and very converient to everything. We really enjoyed to luxury of using the Westin Hotel's indoor/outdoor pools and hot tub right on the Beach. It was great for all three generations of us.
