Located in Kissimmee on Lake Wilson, Grand Lake Resort is only a mile and a half from Walt Disney World. The resort has beautifully furnished one- and two-bedroom units, a swimming pool, games room, tennis court, children's play area, a large lake--with a sandy beach, boat dock, water toys--basketball court, and fitness center. Golf is available at several local courses. Other attractions include Universal Studios and Sea World. The Atlantic Ocean beach is an hour away. Closer to the resort, you will find lakes, waterskiing, boating, and live entertainment.
Another beautiful resort in the area is the Wyndham Cypress Palms. Fairfield Orlando at Cypress Palms is now part of Wyndham Vacation Ownership and located with direct highway access to Disney World. Wyndham Cypress Palms offers a lot of its own fun plus a great place to relax away from the crowds. Enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and spa. A barbecue area is perfect for a relaxing meal at "home." Tennis, golf, boating, and fishing are all nearby. This resort offers 1 and 2 bedroom units, sleeping up to 8 in the largest. This area makes for a perfect vacation.
