Located near scenic Lake Conroe, First Fairway at Walden offers easy access to 21,000 acres of boating, fishing and swimming fun, not to mention on-site amenities such as golfing, a swimming pool, hot tub, and resort restaurant. The championship golf course was co-designed by PGA pro Bruce Devlin. The resort also has two excellent restaurants for your dining pleasure. Boat rentals are available at the Walden Marina and the Del Lago complex. Each unit at First Fairway at Walden is air-conditioned, has kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, telephone, cable television, and a washer/dryer. One bedroom units (maximum occupancy 4) have 1 bath, 1 queen bed and 1 sleep sofa. Two bedroom units (maximum occupancy 6) have 2 baths, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds and 1 sleep sofa. Local area features include boating, conference facilities, exercise equipment, fishing, grocery store, hairdresser, health club, lake, live entertainment, medical facilities, playground area, racquetball, shopping area, tennis, and water skiing. Houston is just an hour from the resort and makes a great side trip. The Gulf resort island of Galveston also is less than a two hour's drive.
