Whispering Woods Resort is located one mile off Highway 26 in the town of Welches, which is situated in Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory. The summit of majestic Mt. Hood is about 17 miles west of the Resort and rises 11,239 feet to the tallest point in Oregon. The Mt. Hood Territory is a rich and expansive recreation destination. The Mt. Hood National Forest features picturesque forested hills and mountain lakes, year-round alpine skiing and snowboarding, seasonal cross country skiing, snow shoeing, backpacking and hiking, fishing, bicycling and more. The 64 condominium-style units are generously sized to make your "home away from home" a most enjoyable experience, with fully-equipped kitchens, cozy interiors and gas-burning fireplaces or wood-burning stoves. Each elegantly furnished one, two or three bedroom vacation rental condominium features one or two bathrooms, cable television, DVD/VCR and stereo sound system. The beautifully appointed kitchen is complemented with a full set of dishes, flatware and cookware, as well as a coffeemaker, blender, and microwave oven.
