Vacation Club International offers accommodations of one and two bedrooms with full kitchens, dishwasher, microwave, air conditioning, telephone, and carpet. The largest accommodations sleep up to six persons comfortably. Resort amenities include a swimming pool, tennis, hot tub, game room, playground, and laundry facility. This timeshare resort is located on Lake Barkley and near Kentucky Lake. The nearest airport is Paducah, 57 miles away. Nearby is a 170,000 acre peninsula known as "The Land Between the Lakes". Nearby amenities include a beach, the lake, waterskiing, boating, fishing, golf, racquetball, horseback riding, exercise equipment, health club, sauna, spa, live entertainment, grocery store, medical facility, and restaurant. The resort encompasses three acres of shoreline along 62,000-acre Lake Barkley. Here, you can enjoy waterskiing, sailing, swimming, and fishing. Marinas are close by for equipment rental. Be sure to visit the 1850s Homeplace, which features craftmaking and costumed interpreters, who describe typical pioneer farm life. Horseback riding, canoeing, and hiking are some of the other activities nearby.
