High Dunes Resort is set on the beach in Kill Devil Hills, between the towns of Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. In addition to having the beach and the Atlantic right in your front yard, you'll enjoy such amenities as an outdoor pool, a children's playground, and a volleyball area. This timeshare resort offers a three story building with nine units. Each unit sleeps six persons and is an Oceanfront condo. Amenities include two bedrooms (1 master w/queen & full bath w/Jacuzzi & 1 bedroom w/2 singles & guest bathroom), a living/dining/kitchen area w/wood burning fireplace, sleeper sofa in living room, central heat & air, wet bar, 2 TV/DVD combos, cable television, fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, washer/dryer, bed linens, bath towels, beach umbrella, boogie board, and (2) beach chairs. Upon arrival, a welcome basket is located on the kitchen counter, containing rolls of toilet paper, two rolls of paper towels, trashcan liners, four motel size bars of soap, laundry soap, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, and coffee filters. Additionally, there is a community pool, ocean views from 2nd and 3rd floor units, and firewood is provided in winter season. The fishing in the area is superb. Ten miles from the resort is Oregon Inlet, 'Blue Marlin Capital of the World.' For sight- seeing, be sure to visit the Wright Brothers National Memorial and Roanoke Island, the site of the first English colony in America.
