Wyndham Pagosa in Pagosa Springs is set amidst over 18,000 acres of Rocky Mountain wilderness. In Pagosa Springs there exist plenty of recreational opportunities including trail rides, white water rafting, golf, tennis, downhill or cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding and hot air balloon rides. In winter, a daily shuttle to the Wolf Creek ski area is offered. Cross-country skiing with rental equipment is also available. A horse-drawn sleigh ride to a rustic cabin for a dinner by candlelight is a great way to spend an evening. Fishing and boating are offered at any of the five nearby lakes. The Pagosa Springs resort has three nine-hole golf courses, a full service pro shop, snack bar and 18 holes of miniature golf. The on-site recreation center includes an indoor pool, racquetball court, fitness center, spa and aerobics classes. A beach, bicycle rentals, business services, children's activities, game room, barbeque area, laundry facilities, car rental, outdoor sundeck and children's playground are also located on the property. Each one- and two-bedroom guestroom has a balcony or patio with views of the mountainside. Units also have a fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven, refrigerator, coffeemaker and dishwasher. Additional amenities include cable television and VCRs.
