Starr Pass Golf Suites is a Southwest vacation jewel, off the beaten path, and tucked away in the spectacular desert beauty and foothills of Tucson, Arizona. The magnificent views from your spacious casita include natural desert landscaping drenched in 350 days of sunshine per year. A 75-foot heated Olympic swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness center is just the beginnings of a full array of amenities. In addition to nearby horseback riding, some of the southwest's most picturesque hiking can be found minutes away at Saguaro National Park and Sabino Canyon. Day trips to Mexico and the historic towns of Tombstone and Bisbee provide a taste of the Old West for true adventure seekers. Tubac's artist community is located 45 minutes south of the resort for fine arts shopping. Starr Pass now offers weekly activities. Every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday mornings, guests take Nature Walks through the resort and neighboring trails, through Tucson's flora and fauna. Following, guests paint, decorate, and create a wide range of arts and crafts with a southwest flair. These crafts include creating wind chimes, necklaces, walking sticks, and flagstone art found in the Sonoran Desert.
Another beautiful resort is Varsity Clubs of America - Tucson Chapter. Premiere Vacation Club at Varsity Clubs of America - Tucson Chapter is two miles east of the University of Arizona and features comfortable suites, each with a king-sized bed, an oversized whirlpool bathtub, wet bar, and kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, two-burner stove, convection oven, blender, toaster, and dining ware. The living room has a sofa bed and television with premium channels. On-site are a fitness center, billiards room, heated swimming pool, 24-hour gift shop, and library with Internet access.
